This special mixture of meats are reworked by Artisans using traditional curing methods, spicing the meat with our locally sourced and in-house created spice blends. We use only Natural Sheep Casings for all our Artisan made dried sausages ensuring the highest quality final products. We then produce an Authentic Cabanossi that is dried to perfection for your eating pleasure..
Cabanossi, also known as Kabana, Kabanos or Kabanosy, is a very flavorful Polish cured sausage made from finely chopped Pork or a mixture of Pork and Beef, Lamb, Turkey and other meats. Cabanossi sausage is well seasoned with Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Garlic and can also contain many other ingredients. The sausage is sometimes smoked or cooked then dried and presents with a dark reddish color. These sausages can be eaten Cold or used for hearty soups and stews etc.
