Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders are not shipped over weekends or during major holidays.
Tracking information will automatically be emailed to the customer once the order has shipped.
Because Biltong USA ships food products, we may adjust shipping days during periods of high heat, severe weather, holidays, or carrier delays to help protect product quality during transit. In some cases, orders may be held to ship earlier in the week rather than risk extended weekend transit.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed by a few additional business days. If significant delays in shipping of your order is expected, we will contact and provide you with further details by email.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout using live carrier rates. We primarily use UPS for reliable and cost-effective door-to-door delivery.
Estimated delivery times are generally 1–5 business days after shipment, depending on the destination, service selected, weather, carrier conditions, and other factors outside of our control. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless specifically stated by the carrier service selected at checkout.
Free Shipping
When free shipping is offered, it applies only to eligible orders within the stated promotion or checkout terms.
Additional shipping charges may apply if the total shipment weight exceeds 10 lb, if the items in the order fall outside the free shipping eligibility terms, if the order requires special handling, or if the destination requires an upgraded shipping method resulting in additional charges.
Perishable and Temperature-Sensitive Products
Some products sold by Biltong USA may be heat-sensitive or perishable. Customers are responsible for retrieving packages promptly after delivery, especially during warm weather.
Biltong USA is not responsible for product damage caused by packages being left outside for extended periods after delivery, incorrect shipping addresses, missed deliveries, refused deliveries, or carrier delays outside of our control.
For products that require cold shipping or faster transit, shipping options may be limited to protect product quality.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Biltong USA is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
If an order has already shipped, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be made.
Delivery Delays
Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather, holidays, high carrier volume, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, Biltong USA cannot control the exact delivery date or time. However, if a delivery issue occurs, please contact us and we will assist where possible in working with the carrier to help finalize the delivery process.
Damaged, Missing, or Delayed Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or appears to have been mishandled during transit, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the package and product condition, preferably by email.
We review shipping issues on a case-by-case basis and will work with customers to find a fair resolution when possible.

Due to the nature of our products and for food safety reasons, Biltong USA does not accept returns or exchanges on food products once they have been shipped or delivered.
This includes, but is not limited to, Biltong, Cabanossi, Droewors, Frozen items, Grocery items, Spices, Sauces, Chutneys, and other consumable products.
If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, is missing an item, or if you have a quality concern, please contact us via e-mail as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number and photos of the product, packaging, and shipping box so we can properly review the issue.
We review order issues on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement, store credit, refund, or other fair resolution when appropriate.
Please do not return or ship food products back to us unless we specifically request it.
Any non-food items may be considered for return or exchange on a case-by-case basis, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original condition. Approval is at the discretion of Biltong USA.
This policy does not limit any action required in the event of a product recall or an order issue caused by our error.
